Air Humidification Cuts Static Electricity Problem
Draabe has installed an air humidification system at Battlefield Graphics, a general commercial printer in Burlington, Ontario (Canada).
Draabe said that its Turbofog high-pressure air humidification system, featuring a pulsating hydraulic flow and titanium nozzles that atomise the water to a micro-fine aerosol, is an energy efficient system.
It is drip free and air humidity is controlled by hydrostat.
The products displayed at Northprint 2007 will also be in operation.
They will include three different versions of Turbofog, each designed for specific environments - pre-press or offices with low ceilings, print and production shops, and storage areas with high humidification requirements.
Draabe's Perpur water treatment system for humidifiers and process water and high-pressure pulsation system Highpur, will also be on display.
John Barker, Draabe's director of sales, said: "Printers realise that proper humidification is as important as choosing the right printing press or bindery equipment.
Northprint is a great opportunity to meet an audience whose business activities increasingly depend on efficient humidification systems.
We will be happy to answer questions and suggest appropriate solutions for the challenges they are facing.".
