33-Inch Web Width Press's Fast Job
Change-Overs
Drent Goebel will be highlighting its VSOP press, which has a 33-inch web width and variable sleeves for fast job change-overs with a range of print repeat lengths at the Drupa 2008 exhibition.
The press is claimed to provide superior print quality using energy curable offset inks that are cured with either inert UV or EB technology Drent Goebel said that converters in the flexible packaging, folding carton and food packaging industries will be able to see demonstrations to showcase the six-colour, solvent-free and VOC-free VSOP throughput the show, which will run from May 29th to June 11 in Dusseldorf (Germany)

Triflex Productions has purchased a new Drent Goebel VSOP offset printing press.
It will be printing on film for wrap-around labels, shrink-sleeves and flexible packaging and board for folding cartons.
The company, which has claimed to be the inventor of variable size offset printing (VSOP) will also join forces with Energy Sciences, IST Metz and Air Liquide at the show, where the four companies will show their latest technology that is incorporated in Drent Goebel's VSOP system.
ESI and IST will also show their latest EB and UV curing systems, whilst Air Liquide will supply the nitrogen used for both curing methods.
ESI will showcase its EZCure EB unit, which was developed for the VSOP line of presses.
IST Metz installed its new BLK-5 lamp with an inert system on the press.
The Drent Goebel stand will be in hall 16, stand number C39.
