Drupa Stages Show Tours To Ease Visitors' Path
Messe Dusseldorf and Deutscher Drucker Verlag are offering conducted tours, which focus on specific subject areas to make it easier for visitors to the Drupa 2004 to gain an overview.
The service portal - www.drupa.de - offers exhibiting companies the opportunity to promote themselves and their show presence, where current company information and product news is available.
The show organisers said that site information is structured around easily navigable categories.
The news category contains nine sections as well as highlighting show organiser's news and the latest information from the print and media industry and related associations and organisations.
There is also a 'Topic of the Month' that provides background information on selected subjects across the industry.
Visitors can access all exhibitor and product information on line, whilst the site's search engine allows personalised searches.
An online module also helps site users make direct contact with exhibitors and preferred dates for stand meetings can be entered into an organiser.
The special events section of the site features the programme of special trade events that will run throughout Drupa 2004.
In addition, there is official show information in the form of the free subscription 'Drupa Report and Newsletter', the content of which can be tailored to personal preferences.
The organisers are also staging a Digital Printing Forum and they have launched a survey on the 'Future of Print, which is open for participation.
Drupa database information is also accessible via KATI, Messe Dusseldorf's electronic visitor information system, which has 70 screens and information points in the venue.
