Drupa Attendance Shows 12% Decline But
Messe Happy

At the halfway mark for Drupa, the international printing exhibition at the Dusseldorf Messe 200,180 visitors had been to the show, reported the organisers The visitors, from 94 countries, representing 60% from international territories, compares with 229,182 visitors in the year 2000 - 52% of international origin, showing a decline in visitor ship of just over 29,000 people (just over 12.6%)

"The trend of the show is definitely a positive one", said Werner Dornscheidt, chairman of the board of Messe Dusseldorf.
And according to Bernhard Schreier, chief executive officer of Heidelberg: "Business is back.
There are a total of 1,862 exhibitors from 52 nations showcasing their products and services in the 18 halls of Messe Dusseldorf.
