Dalim Software has appointed Nexus network as its first distributor in Australia and New Zealand.

The appointment is in response to growing demand in Australasia for Dalim's technology and is seen by the company as a significant addition to the company's network of worldwide channel partners.

Nexus network, based in Ultimo, Sydney, is a specialist technology services and consulting company and is said to be Australia's leading independent pre-press and publishing systems integrator assisting companies to move towards adopting best practice workflows.

The company distributes a wide range of hardware and software and provides a full range of services including engineering and support, architecture and integration, training and tuition, state-of-art websites, strategic IT planning and e-business development.

Nexus's client base of 100 customers includes design studios, advertising agencies, publishers, printing and prepress companies, as well as mid-size government and commercial organisations.

Nexus will supply Dalim's automatic workflow tools - Litho, Twist, Swing, Dialogue, Printempo and Mistral.

"Dalim Software is considered one of the world's leading workflow technology developers and their solutions fit perfectly with our suite of leading products," said John Dobbin, Nexus director.

Bertin Sorgenfrey, business account manager for Dalim Software said: "Nexus Network is a highly-respected company throughout Australia with strong technical expertise and a considerable knowledge of the graphic arts industry.".
