Mistral will provide the on-line interface for production tracking, administration, correction, approval and printing.
It gives Prinovis Liverpool managers and customers a single, common electronic interface to obtain information on the development of any project in real time and from any on-site and remote location.
JDF compliance is a central component to Miistral, allowing tasks such as advanced job ticketing, imposition, and pre-flighting.
To allow customers to view job status and to post comments and request corrections on-line Dialogue provides on-line service for remote and collaborative viewing and soft proofing of high-resolution files via the internet in real time.
Users can view, zoom in and out, navigate, place annotations, take densitometer readings and check production parameters, said Dalim.
"A reliable and efficient automatic workflow is crucial for large scale production," said Steve Whitehead, director of operations technology at Prinovis Liverpool.
