The company said that those products can be configured to suit the multi-format, multi-site, high productivity and high quality requirements of modern pre-media, printing, packaging and publishing operations.

Dalim Software said that it will exhibit the flexibility and productivity of its latest JDF-enabled systems to meet demanding requirements, including browser-based soft-proofing, planning and edition management.

The latest version of Dalim's Twist automated workflow software is 100 per cent compliant with all nine Ghent Workgroup PDF output as well as Pass4Press v6 specifications.

It can run under the Mac OS X operating system, and visitors to Ipex will see the launch of a number of new features and enhancements, such as XML-driven production workflows and JDF-driven file pre-flighting.

The new SWOP certified version of the Dialogue softproofing system for Mac OS X, which enables remote and collaborative viewing and soft proofing of high-resolution files (such as PDF, PDF/X, PostScript, CT/LW, TIFF) in real time via a standard internet connection will also be on show.

Dialogue integrates with a number of third party systems.

There are new features in Mistral, the web-based production management system that is the common electronic submission interface for production assembly and the interface for subsequent production tracking, administration, correction, approval and printing.

Its enhanced features include greater integration with third party publication systems, improved versioning and advertising management capabilities and workflow enhancements.

Mistral Pack, a dedicated version of Mistral, is designed for the packaging industry.

It has new job tracking features and an on-line placement interface using JDF cutting form data.

The Printempo print production system will be on show.

it is said that it can be used by a printer or their client using any common web browser, to monitor the status of the production of pages and trigger actions, such as the generation of plates or proofs.

Ipex 06 will see enhanced print deadline management tools, greater interconnectivity with third party digital asset management and management information systems and new flatplan management features.

At Ipex, Dalim Software will also demonstrate integration with several third-party MIS systems and will announce several new developments and partnerships at the show.

As well as its presence hall 6 on stand B56, Dalim Software can be found at the CIP4 JDF Pavilion (hall 20) demonstrating real-world systems inter-operability with a number of third party vendor systems.
