Dalim Software has appointed Frank Hirsch to the newly-created role of marketing communications manager.

Dalim Software has appointed Frank Hirsch to the newly-created role of marketing communications manager.

The company said that the appointment supports the growing demand for Dalim Software's automated production workflow software in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Hirsch will provide marketing support to authorised Dalim Software distributors and resellers in German-speaking regions to maximise opportunities in the commercial print, publishing, packaging and new media sectors.

Dalim said that his experience supports its priorities in the development of automated pre-media and print production software.

With his technical background and experience in cross-media publishing, including commercial website and software development, Hirsch will provide marketing assistance in the positioning of Dalim Software's product line.

He has previously worked developing software for a variety of companies including T-Online Switzerland and German bank Sparkasse.

Gee Ranasinha, the marketing director at Dalim Software, said: "Frank's profile is a perfect fit for this demanding new role.

He brings with him a wide range of skillsets and knowledge as well as experience in the development of user-friendly application interfaces.
