Delegates From 18 Nations At Workflow

One hundred and fifty delegates from 18 countries made up the largest single gathering of Dalim Software users anywhere in the world.
Some conference attendees travelled from as far afield as Australia, Singapore, Brazil and the USA Dalim Software said that those in attendance represented a number of market sectors, including magazines, catalogues and newspaper publishers, pre-media companies, commercial and packaging printers and large format display specialists

Production Software Is Ready For Intel-Based Apple
Dalim Software will have established compatibility for the new Intel-processor based Apple Macintosh systems throughout the Dalim Software production automation product line by the end of the year.
Delegates included production managers from companies such as EMAP, Continental Web Press, Prinovis, Hachette, IKEA, BBC Magazines, Metro International and Meyle and Muller.
The two-day DUO (Dalim Software Users Organisation) event combined user forum discussions and product development updates, with demonstrations by third-party Dalim Software integration partners, including Alwan Colour Expertise, Eizo and Quark.
Pascale Ginguene of The Ghent PDF Workgroup (GWG) presented the latest initiatives along with an overview of the various GWG test suites available and the recently-announced GWG job ticket specification.
The theme of this year's event was the automation, flexibility and productivity of Dalim Software workflow, management and soft proofing systems driving a range of quality-critical applications in the field.
There was also a look at the level of innovation and performance enhancements that are due from Dalim Software in the near future.
Dalim Software chief executive officer, Dr Carol Werle, said: "The success of this year's event nicely parallels with the continuing successes of Dalim Software.
We are heading the field in production expertise and our blue chip users are certainly pushing the boundaries of production automation.
