A Duplo International product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Mar 5, 2004

Sally Dobinson has been appointed as UK divisional managing director for Duplo International.

Sally Dobinson has been appointed as UK divisional managing director for Duplo International with responsibility for the company's consumables, print finishing, industrial bindery, digital print and service in the UK.

The UK currently accounts for 35% of Duplo International's turnover and the appointment of a dedicated MD will bring a sharper focus to all aspects of the UK business.

Following a strategic plan which has also seen the appointment of a new MD for Duplo France, group managing director, Robin Greenhalgh will have more time to look at growth opportunities across the EMEA region that Duplo International covers.

Greenhalgh commented: "Sally has always been an invaluable member of the team and I am delighted that she has accepted this newly created role.

Her knowledge of the strategic business units and Duplo's long-term business goals will be essential to the company's ongoing development." Dobinson, who will report directly to Greenhalgh, has been with Duplo for 10 years as marketing services manager, marketing manager and most recently as consumables business manager.

She commented: "Four years ago, Duplo was a straightforward finishing supplier but we now offer an extremely broad portfolio of products and services incorporating scaleable finishing, industrial bindery, office and digital products.

Our challenge is to ensure we are structured in a way that allows us to communicate the benefits of working in partnership with Duplo to our existing customer base and potential new customers.".
