Putting Profit Back Into Short Runs

Using offset presses for short runs often results in high costs but with Duplo's Duprinter, we are putting the profit back into our short run print business, and providing competitive prices for our customers at the same time." The network compatible DP-460H is the first ever suction fed digital Duprinter on the market and its features include a high pile infeed allowing stacking of up to 3,000 sheets.
That reduces downtime and also works in conjunction with the suction infeed to cut re-run times on spot colour and duplex jobs.
Concluded Reading: "The DP-460H Duprinter can be run by non-skilled operators with minimal training, which is important to us so everyone can use it as and when required.
It allows operators to recall print job settings, by simply using the memory for quick set up, which adds to the ease and simplicity of operation.
All in all, the investment has been very worthwhile and we are already experiencing the advantages of producing short runs on our Duprinter instead of having to set up a printing press." The DP-460H Duprinter is said to be ideal for producing booklets, order sheets, invitations, envelopes, exam papers, newsletters, score cards, menus, tickets, timetables and stationery etc It is fully network compatible (PC or Mac) with RIP, offering computer to press imaging and can print within seconds of turning it on, producing 1,000 prints in a claimed 10 minutes.
