Cromalin investment confirms long relationship

Delivered with a built-in PC interface, it is aimed at orgnaisations where budget constraints are a key concern.
With a claimed maximum print speed of 120 pages per minute (ppm), the new table-top device is an alternative to photocopiers for mid-volume A4 format document reproduction, capable of producing 400 sheets in less than four minutes from the time the machine is switched on, with the first copy in just 21 seconds said Duplo.
The company added that the machine's controls are self-explanatory, even for unskilled operators and single colour printing is possible by changing the ink colour for one of 12 options.

New Duplo Short-Run Offset Printer At Drupa.
Duplo has announced more new products to be launched at Drupa 2004 for digital print finishing and short-run single and spot colour offset printing.
Tony Hills, Duplo's UK wholesale manager, explained the rationale for developing the new product: "In the digital print sector, the focus is often on developing faster, more highly automated, more fully-featured printers and digital photocopiers, driven by the demands of professional production environments or commercial inplants.
This overlooks the fact that there are thousands of schools, colleges, universities, churches and other institutions, which have the need to reproduce documents quickly and efficiently but lack the resources for massive technology investments, extortionate click-rates and costly maintenance contracts.
The DP-203A is a no-frills solution, which serves the needs of this market perfectly, without any superfluous features." He added that the Duprinter range distinguishes itself from photocopiers by generating a thermal digital master of the original document, which is then used for reproduction.
Two in-built image modes - text and photograph - enable the user to select the most appropriate quality mode for the job in hand.
Text mode is ideal for documents featuring characters and dot-processed mono photos, while the detail in photographs and other graphics are rendered more clearly in photograph mode.
The in-tray and out-tray of the DP-203A hold up to 400 sheets of 80gsm paper and an automatic document feeder meant that the machine could be set up to reproduce a series of 10 different originals without supervision.
The Duprinter is available from Duplo International's network of distributors in the UK and internationally.
The DP-203A will be shown at Paperworld International in Frankfurt (Germany) from January 26-30 on the Duplo International stand in hall 1.2, walkway C, stand 21.
