Duplo Takes On Exclusive UK Deal For Paper Drills

Duplo International has been appointed by Japanese manufacturer Uchida Yoko, as the exclusive UK distributor for Uchida Yoko's range of Uchida paper drills.

This latest announcement caps what Duplo described as a highly successful year so far for the company, which has also seen the company win two other exclusive UK distribution deals for the Ideal range of guillotines and shredders and Eurofold folding products.

Uchida paper drills will be sold through Duplo's UK dealer network and to the UK graphic arts industry directly through its sales team.

The range of paper drills offers a choice of drills that are claimed to be capable of handling conventional office and computer stationery, as well as a range of graphic arts substrates, making the drills suitable for reprographic departments, printers and binderies.

All products in the range are also claimed to be safe and user friendly for operators, with either sliding tables or easy-to-set lay stops.

In addition, the Uchida products meet all safety requirements and are marked and guarded in accordance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.

The Uchida products offered by Duplo International will include the VS20 single spindle two-hole drill for A4 paper, the VS25 for use with A4, A5 and Foolscap with drilling programmes for two, three or four holes, as well as the latest model - the heavy duty V55, which has a 200 Watt motor, self centering sliding table with pre-programme hole selection pattern and a drilling capacity of 50mm.

Also available is the bench top twin spindle D200 drill for paper up to A3.

In addition, Duplo will also be supporting the Uchida products with the availability of related consumables, including drill bits and drilling pads.
