Scottish Open House Shows Finishing Systems

Duplo International will be demonstrating its latest offset and digital finishing equipment to Scottish printers during an open house event in Edinburgh.

The Duplo open house will take place at the Hilton Edinburgh Airport Hotel on October 31 and November 1.

Recently appointed Stuart Bain, Duplo's territory sales manager for Scotland and the north east and his team will meet printers at the event and provide demonstrations on a range of products, including the System 5000 complete bookletmaking system with the new DBM-2KT knife-trimmer and the DC-645 production colour finisher.

Also on show will be the DF-1000 automatic suction folder, which was launched at Ipex last April, Duplo's range of perfect binders, various Ideal guillotines and mid-range bookletmakers, desktop binders and laminators.

With over 30 years experience selling printing equipment, Stuart Bain is responsible for driving sales in the north of the UK.

He commented: "Open houses offer an invaluable opportunity to discuss customers' requirements on a one-to-one basis in a relaxed atmosphere, whilst experiencing the products first hand during the event.

The main attraction of the open house will be our System 5000 bookletmaker with the DBM-2KT knife-trimmer and the DC-645 production colour finisher.

Both products are great examples of how Duplo pushes the boundaries for quality and speed in both the offset and digital finishing arena." Supporting Duplo at the show will be Konica Minolta, which will be promoting its new Bizhub PRO C6500 print engine, as well as Presstek, which will be showing a selection from its range of chemistry-free CTP systems.
