The DC-615 Pro complements the smaller DC-545 model and the larger DC-645 version, which caters for higher volume digital colour production.
Claimed to be capable of handling printed, varnished and laminated stock between 110gsm to 300gsm, the DC-615 Pro is suitable for a range of finishing applications, such as greetings cards, promotional leaflets, postcards and business cards.
Duplo added that the DC-615 Pro has a large operator screen, which allows the operator to access and review up to 80 memorised jobs without having to re-enter any information.

Duplo's Finishing Equipment Transforms Finishing
The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), based in London, which until recently housed an offset printing operation, now finishes 98% of its printed literature in-house digitally.
An option is the graphics-based programming interface that runs on PC or Mac, allowing even untrained staff to operate the system.
The DC-615 Pro comes equipped with features from the existing models, including adjustment for image skew and a CCD camera that recognises the true position of the image on the sheet to compensate for paper shrinkage and image shift.
The CCD can also recognise the job and upload the correct settings from memory then process the sheet to the intended finish without operator intervention.
The six slitting tools, one knife and one creaser are also joined in this model by a new air-knife designed to overcome static, improve feeding and reduce image marking on delicate stock, added the company.
It also includes ultrasonic double feed detection, which removes the possibility of two sheets being fed together and reduces waste.
New features incorporated in the DC-615 Pro include a mechanism that is automatically positioned to deliver waste from gutter cuts directly in to the bin instead of out on to the delivery tray, which helps to reduce paper jams and operator cleaning tasks.
The receiving tray can be adjusted to allow for neat stacking of small items, such as business cards, or postcards.
Peter Dyson, Duplo International's product marketing manager for digital finishing solutions, said: "There has been a significant increase in the number of printers producing medium volume digital colour print and we were aware that they needed a versatile finishing system to meet their needs.
The DC-615 Pro bridges the gap between our entry model DC-545 and the top of the range DC-645, to offer a compact, multi-functional digital finishing system that can handle a range of finishing requirements for this growing sector of the market." And he explained: "The DC-615 Pro is the ideal machine for printers who don't have the budget, or space for the DC-645.
Its compact multi-function design and un-complicated operation means that it's perfect for printers looking for a versatile finishing system that also allows them to expand the possible applications they can offer to their customers.".
