The addition of the Pharma-Printcontrol to its other range of products gives DVS Quality Solutions a total print and package system covering the whole workflow from creation of text, through artwork, composition, printing and finishing, believes the company.
At the beginning of the process the Text Verification Tool from Schlafender Hase allows the comparison of electronic files containing the same text but in different format or position and works with Word, RTF and PDF files.
The system is in use in pharmaceutical and healthcare companies across Europe ensuring that text is not corrupted when transferred between documents, said DVS.
Across the rest of the processes Pharma-Printcontrol allows inspection of PDF to PDF, PDF to hardcopy and hardcopy to hardcopy to ensure accuracy of content and position at each stage of the packaging production process, added the company.
DVS also offers the full range of Pantone reference publications as well as hardware and software for electronic colour verification, together with a range of colour verification light cabinets to ensure colour accuracy throughout the packaging production process.
