Software is now available to ensure that text transfers correctly between electronic files during artwork creation and editing of text documents.
Software is now available to ensure that text transfers correctly between electronic files during artwork creation and editing of text documents The Text Verification Tool (TVT) is available from DVS Quality Solutions and was developed by Schlafender Hase and Partners to enable the quick and accurate checking of text between electronic files, Word, rtf and PDF vector files
Unlike some other systems the TVT does not convert the original Word or rtf file to a PDF file prior to inspection and, therefore, preserves the integrity of the master file, said DVS.
TVT compares the text between documents, irrespective of position, style or font, though differences in them can also be noted.
At the end of the inspection a comprehensive report can be produced that lists the differences found between documents, added the company.
