That is the claim of DVS Quality Solutions, which said that the software enables users to check documents in a fraction of the time usually taken by manual proof reading, whilst ensuring that the usual manual proof reading errors are not overlooked.
The software works with several document formats, including PDF, Word and xml Gilead Sciences is the latest pharmaceutical company to choose the TVT as a means of ensuring texts are correct in regulatory and packaging documentation.
Others users include Sanofi Aventis, Glaxo Smith Kline, Novo Nordisk, Lilly, Novartis, Roche, Solvay, Merck andMerz, said DVS.
Doug Simmans, managing director of DVS Quality Solutions, suppliers of the TVT, said: "These installations by Gilead are a significant step in establishing the TVT software as the premier text verification tool in use in the global pharmaceutical Industry." The software is in continuous development by Schlafender Hase and Partners to meet the changing needs of the pharmaceutical marketplace, he added.
The most recent version includes the ability to check xml documents in both SPL and PIM standards.
