Gilead Sciences is the latest pharmaceutical company to choose the Text Verification Tool (TVT) from Schlafender Hase to ensure texts are correct in regulatory and packaging documentation.
Gilead Sciences is the latest pharmaceutical company to choose the Text Verification Tool (TVT) from Schlafender Hase to ensure texts are correct in regulatory and packaging documentation.
TVT is a means of ensuring texts are correct and the software is claimed to enable users to check documents in a fraction of the time usually taken by manual proof reading, whilst ensuring that the usual manual proof reading errors are not overlooked.
The software works with such document formats a PDF, Microsoft Word and xml, said DVS Quality Solutions, TVT's supplier.
Doug Simmans, managing director of DVS Quality Solutions, said: "These installations by Gilead are a significant step in establishing the TVT software as the premier text verification tool in use in the global pharmaceutical industry." Other TVT users include Sanofi Aventis, Glaxo Smith Kline, Novo Nordisk, Lilly, Novartis, Roche, Solvay, Merck and Merz.
