Dynamic Digital Imaging (DDI), a UK supplier of large format digital print, has become only the second company in the country to install the new Oce CS6100.

The CS6100 is a grand-format, high performance ink-jet printer that produces outdoor durable output using solvent inks.

Its high-speed system is versatile enough to print on a wide range of media including mesh banners and billboards but can still retain a very high photographic quality resolution for large exhibition graphics, said DDI.

DDI produces large format work and is a confidential supplier to trade customers.

"We have spent 15 years building our reputation for delivering a quality service and it was imperative that the new grand format printer we selected would enable us to maintain that quality.

Unlike most grand format systems the CS6100 prints at 720dpi so we do not have to compromise our standards and our customers get the quality results they have come to expect from us," explained Adrian Rope, managing director of DDI.

The company was also the first UK company to install an Oce CS6060 a year ago and the CS6100 is the seventh Oce machine that the company has purchased.
