Encad has announced that its newly launched Novajet 1000i printer will make its debut in Germany at the forthcoming CeBIT show.

Encad has announced that its newly launched Novajet 1000i printer will make its debut in Germany at the forthcoming CeBIT exhibition.

The new printer, designed to specifications compiled from extensive customer consultation, uses a number of innovations to improve speed, image quality, reliability, ease of use, and provide an extremely low cost per print.

It is the first printer jointly developed by Encad and its parent company, Kodak.

Encad has also introduced Quantum Ink with the Novajet 1000i.

Developed and manufactured by Kodak, these two new dye and pigment inks provide what the company beleives is an outstanding color gamut, superior durability and the ability to print on both indoor and outdoor media.

The company has also introduced the Novajet 1000i software suite.

It manages workflow with software enabled precision calibration, automated networking setup, and remote printer access.

It also has integrated job tracking, job accounting and supplies management features.
