Encad's New Wide Format Printer At CeBit Show
Encad has announced that its newly launched Novajet 1000i printer will make its debut in Germany at the forthcoming CeBIT show.
The company said that the machine, which was awarded the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF) Intertech Technology Award, has been installed at hundreds of European print businesses.
Martin Birch, the general manager Encad EAMER, said: "We have been overwhelmed by the interest in the Novajet 1000i and we're delighted when end-of-year figures proved that sales were significantly higher than we forecast.
We undertook months of research and development among industry users to ensure that we delivered the right product to meet their expectations.
The result is a printer that uses a number of innovations to improve speed, image quality, reliability, ease of use, and an extremely low cost per print." The company staged a European-wide sales incentive for the product amongst its sales teams, which offered those business managers who reached year-end sales targets the reward of a hand-made suit and shoes.
As a result, of the number of successful installations across the continent, Encad recently honoured its promise to its business managers with a trip to the world-renowned bespoke tailor's centre - Saville Row in London.
"The combination of clear business benefits offered by the Novajet 1000i and the huge efforts of our sales teams has been a real driver for success and we are delighted to honour our promise by rewarding them accordingly," said Birch.
