Epic Products International will be introducing at Graph Expo '06 a new coating system for the offset and digital printing market.

Epic, of Arlington, Texas (USA) claimed that it is one of the first companies to add coating to an offset press, and it is now bringing its experience and knowledge to digital printing.

The Epic CT-660 offline coater is said to be a completely integrated system with feeder and stacker designed for all digital, DI, and offset formats up to 20" X 26".

The CT-660 utilises anilox metering and computer controls for ease of operation by all personnel in digital printing operations said Epic Products.

Spot or overall coating with UV or aqueous, gloss or matte finishes, are available in a single package.

Epic also offers a complete line of Coat Tech anilox systems for web and sheetfed presses, with or without a tower coater.

The Coat Tech retractable anilox blanket coater can add coating capability to virtually any high pile sheetfed press, and the Original Delta dampening system improves the print quality and productivity of any offset press, claimed Epic.
