With sales increasing in Edale's current resources have been running at full capacity as the company has turned out presses for its global and home markets.

The sequencing of getting orders in and getting machines assembled and out to the customer has up until now been intricate, where every square metre of the factory floor space held a press in a state of mid-manufacture.

But now, just down the road from its current Romsey (UK) site, Edale's new production facility will be home to the Alpha and Beta flexo presses, while the Sigmas will still be produced one the original site.

The new factory space marks not only a physical growth in the company but mirrors other developments within the firm to keep pace with demand.

James Boughton has been made to chief executive officer.

He commented: "The opening of our second factory in marks exciting times here at Edale as more and more label and packaging printers choose us as their flexo press partner.

I am looking forward to spearheading Edale's ascent as it undoubtedly remains at the forefront of flexo technology and becomes a key player in the industry.".
