UK Label Press Manufacturer's US Show Debut

The Label Expo Americas was the best yet according to UK label press manufacturer Edale.

It was the first time Edale has exhibited in America and while it participated with what it described as calculated optimism the company believes it has attained a brighter outlook in the American market.

Showcased on the Edale stand was the Alpha press, which the company believes differentiated it from the other presses on price and compact footprint.

The press uses anodised cast aluminium plates.

Edale also believed that the company's philosophy of avoiding special spare parts that force customers to purchase them from the original supplier struck a chord with show visitors.

The company claims high level of customer satisfaction based on the 45 per cent of machines sold to existing Edale customers.

Edale said its American market now has a network of representatives and a parts and service division has been set up in Raleigh (Georgia) with a team of trained service engineers.
