Winning the gold medal at the Poligrafia Exhibition in Poland has made it the second award for Edale's Alpha flexo press.

Winning the gold medal at the Poligrafia Exhibition in Poland has made it the second award for Edale's Alpha flexo press.

The first award was the International Print and Innovations award, which was achieved during the Alpha's launch in 2001.

The Alpha was on show by M M Druk Serwis, Edale's polish agent, which has already overseen a number of successful installations in the area said Edale.

The company said that the judges looked for modern systems with precision and quality manufacture but not negating functionality, operational use and ergonomically designed features.

Bernhard Grob, Edale's export director, said: "The Alpha was clear to win.

It has the technical expertise of engineers that work on our cutting edge servo driven machines and a company with 50 years experience.

The Alpha is an entry level machine of the highest calibre and with it's relatively small footprint and price tag, along with it's ease of use it has become a popular choice where flexo press manufacturers keep looking to make bigger and more expensive machines.".
