Electronics For Imaging (EFI) has announced plans to acquire Best GmbH in a cash deal valued approximately at $9 million, plus an earn-out based on Best's achievement of revenue targets over the next 15 months Best is a global software company providing products for the print and publishing markets
The acquisition would complement EFI's strengths in graphic arts and workflow software, adding a range of pre-print, pre-press and remote proofing systems for inkjet printers to EFI's portfolio.
It would also further EFI's strategy of increasing its market share in the professional and corporate printing sectors.
