EFI Proofing Now Supports Epson 4000 Printers

EFI has announced that its latest range of proofing systems with Best technology now supports Epson's new Stylus Pro 4000 desktop printer EFI's latest proofing software and colour management.

EFI has announced that its latest range of proofing systems with Best technology now supports Epson's new Stylus Pro 4000 desktop printer.

EFI's latest proofing software and colour management feature the integrated Adobe Postscript engine (Adobe CPSI).

Support for PDF/X, updated colour management options is provided with a completely redesigned, intuitive interface, and selectable RIP resolutions to accelerate the printing process and provide precise colour results on the Epson Stylus Pro 17-inch wide photographic inkjet printer.

A range of systems is available from EFI for use with the Epson 4000 printer.

They include Colorproof for producing colour accurate digital inkjet proofs that match press output and Screenproof for producing digital halftone proofs that represent not only the colour but also the content of the press output by using the original one-bit files that were created for platemaking.

In addition, Remoteproof is a complimentary quality assurance tool that enables users to not only transfer files with the settings and profiles needed to create proofs at remote locations, but to also numerically verify the accuracy of those proofs.

Designer Edition is said to be an easy to use, Mac-based proofing application.

All EFI proofing systems are available through EFI certified dealers and distributors.
