EFI is showcasing the integration between its Fiery and its suite of print management information systems - Hagen, Logic and PSI at the Connect 2004 Users' Conference in Las Vegas.
EFI is showcasing the integration between its Fiery and its suite of print management information systems - Hagen, Logic and PSI at the Connect 2004 Users' Conference taking place this week in Las Vegas The Fiery workflow integration has been expanded to Hagen, Logic and PSI in a two-way exchange between the Fiery print controller (System 5 and higher) and the management system
The connection is accomplished through EFI technology that facilitates the movement of job details, including job numbers, descriptions, parts information, colours, production counts and start and stop time, between the Fiery controller and the individual MIS software in real time.
"The Fiery to MIS system connection will help our customers make their workflow processes and reporting more productive and cost-effective," said Marc Olin, vice president and general manager for EFI Commercial Print Systems.
