London prepress company Production Response is providing clients with a more efficient digital proofing service, following the installation of EFI's proofing software incorporating Best technology.

EFI is to present its Oneflow workflow solution and its new Logic SQL management system in the UK at MIS 2004.
EFI Looks To Make Drupa Connections
EFI, the digital imaging and print management systems specialist will showcase the productivity and revenue generating benefits of its connected workflow at Drupa 2004.
Oneflow is claimed to allow users to build custom workflows and automate pre-press functions using an icon-based drag and drop interface.
If a special imposition or trapping workflow is required for a particular job or customer, that can be quickly, said the company.
New features to Oneflow 2.0 are claimed to enable increased efficiency and pre-press productivity with enhanced document quality and consistency.
Oneflow 2.0 is also now fully integrated with EFI's proofing software, enabling users to incorporate colour management in to their workflows, said the company.
Oneflow will also be be seen in operation with Danwood Group - stand C350 and Konica Minolta Business Solutions - stand A112.
Visitors to Northprint will also see the cornerstone of EFI's distributed printing system for digital colour and mono production - Balance.
It is said to provide centralised management of up to 16 print devices with job ticketing and composition of complex documents.
Features, such as load balancing, splitting of colour and mono pages with automated collation and hot folder job submission, help speed job completion time and decrease costs.
Balance will also be demonstrated by Express Print Solutions - stand M471.
Digital Storefront, an integrated product that is claimed to simplify print job submission and procurement throughout the order and production process, will complete the range of EFI technology on show at Northprint.
It is said to improve customer service and streamline print centre operations by integrating the flow of data from initial submission to printed output for efficiency and profitability.
It will also be exhibited by Danwood - stand C350.
