EFI will team-up with its partners, Canon and HP on the Association of Digital Photographers Stand at the Cebit exhibition in Hanover - Hall 1, Stand 2H4 - March 10-16.

Featured products from EFI will be the scalable Colorproof XF Designer Edition and Photo Edition.

Colorproof XF consists of several different components that can be joined together in different combinations to create a basic or extended configuration.

The software is said to offer flexibility to enable users to create a customised product that suits individual proofing and colour management requirements.

Users can choose from a variety of different product and output options and increase functionality as needs expand said EFI.

Designer Edition 4.0 is a Mac or Windows-based proofing product for graphic artists, designers and professional printers.

It incorporates the Adobe PostScript 3 engine (Adobe CPSI), with PDF/X support, a nesting function and selectable RIP resolutions.

Photo Edition 4.0 is printing and proofing software for digital photographers and photo labs that also offers cross-platform functions and the Adobe PostScript 3 engine.

Its colour management capabilities are claimed to allow photographers to input RGB camera data, automatically convert it to CMYK, export as a CMYK-TIFF file and output the data in proof form.

Users preferring the RGB workflow have the advantage of utilising the complete colour space of the printer to output bright, vivid photos, said EFI.
