Production Response Digital Proofs Response
London prepress company Production Response is providing clients with a more efficient digital proofing service, following the installation of EFI's proofing software incorporating Best technology.
The controller for the Docucolor 240 and 250 joins the family of Fiery products designed specifically for Xerox, from its full line of colour presses - Fiery for the iGen3 digital press, through to the Fiery for the Docucolor 12 and the controller for the Phaser EX7750 colour laser printer, which won a Best of Show award at Macworld 2005.
The new Fiery-driven DocuColor 240 and 250 are designed for customers who require higher image quality and higher speed than traditional printers but wish to avoid the additional cost and footprint associated with elaborate systems, said EFI.
The Fiery embedded controller for the machines is claimed to enable the MFP's to readily produce a range of professional colour documents, including menus, catalogues, v-fold brochures, sales and training presentations, newsletters, packaging design, general designs, photos, point of sale posters and signage, direct mail and invitations.
Rob Stewart, the worldwide vice president of marketing for Xerox Office Group, said: "The latest results of our long-standing relationship with EFI, integrated Fiery for the Docucolor 240 and 250, helps position Xerox to win significant market share.
Customers are certain to find tremendous value in the Fiery controller.".
