EFI will showcase its web-enabled collaboration tools, management information systems, Fiery servers and superwide digital inkjet printers at Ipex 2006.

The EFI stand - hall 9, stand D20 - at Ipex (being staged from April 4-11 at the NEC, Birmingham UK) will include the EIS 'command centre' for decision-makers using EFI's print management software.

EIS is an interactive data analysis command centre that is said to instantly recap the state of the business and links to other key data, enabling new levels of business intelligence.

The web-based EIS helps to improve processes and profit potential by giving users complete and instant visibility in to real-time business information, claimed EFI.

Also on show will be EFI's portfolio of Vutek UV-curing flatbed and solvent roll-to-roll printers.

The Pressvu UV 200/600 UV-curing flatbed printer is said to offer the highest image quality and greatest versatility available today in a UV-curing printer.

The Ultravu II 3360 three-metre roll-to-roll printer delivers the best image quality and most productivity in its class.

In addition to throughput improvements in all print modes, the Ultravu II 3360 comes standard with new features.

The Vutek Pressvu UV 200/600 UV-curing flatbed printer that will be shown is said to enable users to benefit from high-end image quality, greater productivity and improved profitability at an affordable price, said EFI.

Digital Storefront is claimed to provide a complete, streamlined workflow from the document creator, through the print production environment, to finishing and delivery.

By providing a robust, personalised interactive intranet or internet presence 24 hours-a-day, Digital Storefront enhances customer relationships and improves profitability, said EFI.

Enhancements to Digital Storefront include stronger VDP capabilities, integration with other EFI products, including Command Workstation and Oneflow, and improved Printmessenger Drivers.

The newest Fiery system software is said top embody WYSIWYG job composition and imposition tools, workflow automation, production tools and flexible and open VDP capabilities.

EFI's newest Fiery controller technology for what the company called 'extreme' production environments, offers colour quality, open VDP workflow flexibility, and expert-level tools.

Other EFI product highlights at Ipex 2006 will include Fiery system software and servers.

In addition to the demonstrations held on the EFI stand, Fiery technology will be featured on a number of EFI partnr's stands.
