Patrick Van Dam commented: "Besides consolidating our position in existing markets, I look forward to working with our team to initiate expansion into new emerging markets like the Pacific Rim and Eastern Europe.
Ultimately, we're looking to advance our leading edge position on a worldwide scale." Van Dam joined Enfocus Software in June 2000 as sales account manager and he was promoted to director of international sales in April 2001.
Prior to joining Enfocus Software, he was co-founder of Visual Communication Systems, a multimedia company where he served as general manager from 1990 to 2000.
He has also served in key strategic roles at Agfa, Aesthedes and Philips.
He obtained a degree in Electronics at the Higher Institute of Mechelen, Belgium.
