Now in its third year, the event is organised for the fifth time by CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) for students enrolled at the National Printing Skills Centre (NPSC), a division of Leicester College.
This year's event will feature a presentation by Patrick Gilmour from Enfocus Software about Enfocus certified PDF technology and will address pre-flight, file integrity and quality standards.
The CoVE for Industry Event - Innovations in Pre-Press will take place at St Margaret's Campus, Leicester College.
The National Printing Skills Centre (NPSC) is the leading business-training provider for the printing and graphic communications industries.
The NPSC delivers specialised professional training in digital media (pre-press and multimedia), press and post-press.
Enfocus siad it is an enthusiastic sponsor of the NPSC at Leicester College and is dedicated to offering educational support about the certified PDF standard.
In 2004, Enfocus provided Leicester College with a full site license of its product range as well as PDF training courses.
Patrick Gilmour's presentation will provide an overview of Enfocus certified PDF technology and the company's role in establishing certified PDF as a reliable industry standard for inter-company file exchange in the industry.

The event is organised for the student body at the National Printing Skills Centre (NPSC) at Leicester College, but is also open to the press and members of the printing industry.
