Blaise will be developing and assisting Enfocus's distributor network and will be responsible for ensuring that the company is strongly exposed in his region and thagt the company's products and services are fully recognised.
Most recently working for Nestle France as Ebusiness project manager and graphic chain expert, he is based in Ville-pinte near Paris (Framce) and he will be responsible for France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, whilst reporting to the newly appointed international sales manager, Yves de Vlieger.
Blaise has over 15 years' experience in the graphic arts industry, having worked in packaging and in computing and software.
He also co-chairs the packaging sub-committee of the Ghent PDF Workgroup, which is studying and evaluating the implementation of full PDF workflows in the packaging Industry worldwide.
Patrick van Dam, executive vice president of Enfocus, said: "We are delighted that Christian Blaise will be joining our team and expanding our reach within southern Europe.
With his considerable hands-on experience of Enfocus products from his work at Nestle and his in-depth knowledge of the brand owners, he possesses all of the key qualities to effectively support our products across his region." Blaise added: "I feel very strongly that the Enfocus products are amongst the best on the market, and that with the experience and understanding I already have from working with them on the other side of the fence, I will be able to ensure that the certified PDF technology becomes highly visible.
It is my aim that over the coming months southern Europe is acutely aware of the technology available, and sales across the region are bolstered." After obtaining a degree in mathematics at Strasbourg University, Blaise began his career with the Societe Alsacienne d'Aluminium as Pre-press manager.
He moved to Nestle in 1999 and worked on graphic chain management and project management software.
