PDF Editing Software Wins Best In Show Award

Artwork Systems' Enfocus has won a best of show award at the On Demand Conference and Exposition.

The prize was awarded in the document creation category for Neo, Enfocus's native PDF application for editing.

Neo is claimed to provide split-second editing and page handling of complex PDFs, even over remote connections using standard laptop computers.

PDFs can bemanipulated to the operator's liking, with real-time zooms to the highest levels of detail, said Enfocus.

The company added that as PDF has become the preferred format for document exchange, Neo answers the need to correct mistakes found close to, or at deadlines when native files are not available.

Enfocus said that Neo is a suitable add-on for companies faced with corrections that have to be swiftly carried out at the last minute, with Neo reducing the approval and correction cycles that are unavoidable in today's on demand environments.

Yves De Vlieger, Enfocus's associate director of worldwide sales, said: "Neo is one of those special and rare technologies that has just clicked for everyone, from its birth in development through to customer testing and last month's Enfocus launch.

De Vlieger said the company was gratified to see NEO follow Pitstop Professional's Best of Show win from last year, because it helps confirm the company's belief that Neo has the power to be another front-runner in the Enfocus portfolio.

It is the second year in a row that Enfocus has been awarded a best of show honour at On Demand.
