PDF Pre-flighting Software's Secure File Transfer

Windows Vista (32-bit) support, compliancy with digital signatures and higher processing speeds are available in the latest release of Enfocus's Pitstop Professional - version 7.2.

Pitstop Professional 7.2 for PDF pre-flighting, auto-correction and editing is a free update for Pitstop 7.0 and 7.1 users, is available for download at Enfocus's website.

New support for digital signatures is integrated with the company's certified PDF technology, which is claimed to make the company's ability to offer secure file transfer at content and technical levels one of the strongest available in the marketplace.

The certified PDF technology is said to provide immediate visual feedback and allows tracking of every edit made to a PDF.

The redesigned Enfocus Navigator in Pitstop 7 speeds up file repair by clearly indicating errors and enabling interactive fixing.

Enfocus Certified PDF technology embeds the PDF profile and report in the PDF document for easy file exchange, added the company.

Enfocus said that the Adobe Acrobat plug-in Pitstop Professional'a interactive and automated editing capabilities allow users to perform PDF editing and correction up until the last moment.

Pitstop Professional allows tracking of every edit made to a PDF.

At the same time, its interactive inspection and editing tools enable changes to virtually all PDF attributes available.

Global Change speeds up editing by offering universal modifications throughout a document and through Action Lists, repetitive tasks are automated and can now be interactively recorded.

Compliant with the PDF/X and Ghent PDF Workgroup specifications, Enfocus PDF Profiles allow checking of all critical issues and automatic correction of the most common errors, said the company.
