Encore Machinery has launched the Pit Stop Mini digital scoring and perforating machine.
Encore Machinery has launched the Pit Stop Mini digital scoring and perforating machine.
Said to be suitable for printers who do not have such high volume requirements as the Pit Stop High Speed digital creaser, which operates at 89,000 sheets per hour (sph) but require a well built machine.
The Mini operates at a claimed 6,000sph and has a choice of 20 programs.
It handles stock from 80gsm to 400gsm.
The feeder is 36cm x 64 cm and an optional extension feeder of 36cm x 85cm is available, added Encore.
The high speed Pit Stop machines are now available with an optional deep pile delivery or deep pile feeder and on-line to an MB folding unit.
A new bridge has also being launched, which will link the Pit Stop to any folding machine, said the company.
