Encore Machinery has announced that it has launched a high speed Pit Stop digital creaser-perforator configured on-line to the heavy duty, four-plate, B3 format MB 38 folder.

Currently, the Pit Stop has only been configured on-line to a two-plate or four-plate, smaller format MB 35 folder.

Mike Biggs, Encore's managing director, said: "We've been asked by both our digital and offset customers to develop an on-line creasing and folding system for higher volume, faster turn-round applications using heavier duty stock." The new equipment will be demonstrated with a 900mm long register table and a pulsed delivery table.
