11,000sph Creasing System With Punching

Encore Machinery has launched the Pitstop FM Speed creasing system, which is claimed to operate at 11,000 sheets per hour (sph).
The Pitstop FM Speed, which will be sold alongside the Pitstop AF Speed, which is claimed to operate at 8,000sph, has been designed for companies with high volume creasing requirements Both machines are also said by Encore Machinery to handle sheet sizes up to 50cm x 70cm and stocks up to 600gsm

Encore Machinery has claimed that the MB Autoset 18 fully-automatic inserting system garnered several orders from high volume inserting users when it was shown at Drupa 2008.
They also each have a perforating tool.
Another claimed advantage of the FM Speed is that it is the only machine on the market that can be fitted with a punching tool, suitable for wiro binding, or two-hole and four-hole drilling.
The machine is fitted with a collection tray to hold the waste paper.
Mike Biggs, Encore Machinery's managing director, said: "We are keeping ahead of the market where there is a demand for faster finishing equipment to keep up with the increased speed of digital printers.
We also believe that the on-line punching tool will be a big selling point for finishing department who need to improve their turnaround.".
