Ipex 2010 will be the venue for the UK launch of the Kisun range of UV coating machines and automated photobook binding machines, where UK distributor Encore Machinery will demonstrate the equipment.
The KDC 2 Digi UV coating machine has the ability to coat a range of papers, including some of the more difficult digitally printed stock.
It is a three-in-one system for UV, primer and water-based liquid coating.
Encore Machinery said that the Digibinder water-based block gluing binder can meet the demand for the production of high-volume digital print on demand photobooks and conventional photo albums.
Its back-to-back gluing operation solves many of the problems of binding heavyweight papers in digital press photobook production.
It can also make rigid album pages and covers by inserting hardboard between the signatures.
