Esko-Graphics is organising a packaging technology seminar due to take place at the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire on September 14.

The full day UK event is entitled: 'The race for future packaging technologies'.

This year's seminar is designed to answer technology questions raised by the array of pre-press technology developments unveiled at Drupa in May.

As the landscape of the packaging industry matures with the introduction of new standards such as JDF, future technology drives many of the business decisions of packaging designers, trade shops and converters said Esko-Graphics.

Paul Bates, UK packaging sales manager for Esko-Graphics said: "Keeping in touch with developments in pre-press hardware and software technologies is a major part of the knowledge required to run a successful business these days.

In this seminar we are trying to give practical advice about integrating changing technologies into the packaging workflow, whilst keeping an eye on future developments in the marketplace." The seminar will outline new workflow developments for packaging pre-press managers.

Additionally, an ArtiosCAD user meeting will take place in the afternoon.

The Heritage Motor Museum houses one of the nation's largest collections of vintage and contemporary cars.

Seminar delegates will have the opportunity to tour the museum and to win a 4 x 4 off-road experience.
