Marketing Deal Sees Esko Workflow At MLP

Esko-Graphics and Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses (MLP) have signed a marketing agreement to build a pre-press and demonstration department in MLP's Leeds (UK) facilities.

MLP would now combine and demonstrate its B1 and B2 presses into a complete production cycle.

We have already trained a dedicated operator to fully support this cooperation, and look forward to showing customers a complete configuration from prepress to print." Keith Davison, UK Sales Manager for Esko-Graphics said: "Through this cooperation with MLP, we have the possibility to show our products in a real-time production environment, stressing the accuracy and high quality output our technology provides." Scope workflow and asset management servers are fully JDF enabled for flexible integration with other pre-production and business systems.
Hubert Scheir, director of marketing of Esko-Graphics, concluded: "This unique marketing agreement will enable us to demonstrate our solutions in combination with Mitsubishi's high quality printing presses.
Together with the Kongsberg demo facilities at Leeds University, we can now more efficiently serve our customers in the middle and northern part of the United Kingdom.".
