"We are very proud that so many of our customers came on top during this prestigious contest.

I share the view of the judges that many of the entries would win prizes, not just in Asia but also worldwide.

This is a testimony that flexo in Asia has grown to a level that can compete with the best and that our technology is used to achieve those results is very gratifying," said Jean-Pierre De Moor, vice president for Esko-Graphics Asia Pacific.

The annual Asian Flexo Excellence Award is founded to recognise the outstanding achievement in the flexographic packaging industries across Asia.

The awards presented are judged on a wholly quality oriented set of criteria to ensure fairness throughout the process.

The panel of judges included recognised figures within the Asian printing community, well-known in their areas of expertise and was headed by Alf Carrigan, the chairman of the National Print Awards from Australia.
