To be launched in the UK at Flexo 2005 at Birmingham from March 15-18 (stand 1130, hall 17) by Esko-Graphics, Multicut is said to have excellent tooling versatility.

The company believes that the toolhead further enhances the cutting capability of the Kongsberg XL tables for package, sign and display applications.

The toolhead features two configurable tool stations and a milling spindle.

The one kW spindle has a rotation speed adjustable up to 60,000rpm and the systems remote control software enables optimal RPM settings to be stored along with feed information for different materials, thus avoiding errors and increasing productivity said Esko-Graphics.

Targeted materials include plywood, acrylics, polycarbonates, Dibond, rigid PVC, wood, and high pressure laminates said Esko-Graphics.
