Esko-Graphics is to attend the Packaging Innovations Show at the UK's NEC Birmingham from the September 27 - 29, showing its Scope workflow on Stand 8384.

Packaging Innovations is aimed at marketing and brand owners and Esko-Graphics said that it regards the show as an important opportunity to demonstrate its technology and present its systems to the widest possible audience.

Paul Bates, Esko-Graphics' UK national sales manager, said: "We have seen significant growth in the packaging market over the last few years with increased demand for sophisticated and easy to use tools.

There is definitely a bleed within sectors such as packaging, retail, design and marketing as well as point of sale, all converging to supply the branded product and getting it on the shelves in the fastest possible way.

Our Scope suite of software modules for printed packaging applications is answering the exact demands of the marketplace." On the stand, Esko-Graphics will demonstrate Scope's range of functions, from job and product specification, through to graphic and structural design and expert pre-production operations.

Scope is claimed to integrate graphics and structural design with production and project management.

Key Scope components for packaging workflow include ArtiosCAD for structural design with its latest 3D Designer tools and Packedge for graphics design, Plato for step and repeat and Webcenter, with its collaboration and asset management tools.

In addition on the stand, there will be FlexRIPs driving proofing and imaging devices and dedicated screening technology for flexo and gravure printing, as well as Kaleidescope for colour management.

Hubert Scheir, the director of marketing at Esko-Graphics, commented: "Our attendance at the Packaging Innovations Show is further evidence of our drive in to the world of creativity and design.

As a long standing, market leading supplier of quality tools to the packaging industry the company is looking forward to offering its customers in the marketing and brand community the latest technologies required to achieve that competitive edge.".
