Esko, the printed packaging pre-production systems provider will be featuring technology demonstrations illustrating Scope's future development directions The new developments include Deskpack, a Scope software component with new plug-ins and updates to existing ones
At Ipex 2006, which opens tomorrow, Esko will disclose new and patented technology that the company believes will change the way packaging design will be viewed in the future.
Esko claimed that the most spectacular development is the ability with Adobe Illustrator to take a virtual three-dimensional view of a package, offering 3D guidance to navigate through complex structural designs and use the virtual environment in the 'smart' creation of the two-dimensional, unfolded production job.
That allows the designer to explore and enhance creativity, whilst virtually holding the package in his or her hand.
