Eskoartwork launches tools for workflow server
Eskoartwork has introduced the Backstage Products tool and the Backstage Viewer for job handling and file comparison, extending the functionality of its Backstage workflow server.
A 10-year veteran of Esko, Janout's most recent position was sales manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In the interim he will maintain those responsibilities to ensure a smooth transition for a future successor, said Esko.
Armand Gougay commented on the strategic goals for the new brand owners and major accounts group for EMEALA: "Esko has demonstrated a long-term commitment to developing systems that meet the challenges of the brand-name products industry, introducing the Scope suite, that significantly shorten decision-making cycles, establish centralised and transparent communication between all partners in the added-value chain and reduce potential production risks.
Our objective is to better integrate brand owners, packaging designers and major customers in to the production process." He continued: "Dieter Janout will spearhead Esko's strategy of expanding our expertise above and beyond products and systems to assume total responsibility for integration in these market segments.
Dieter is a valued member of our team and has consistently demonstrated great commitment to the successful implementation of Esko's ideas in the German-speaking region.
His expertise will enable Esko to build on its strengths and expand our reach in the consumables market." Dieter Janout (42) is originally from Vienna and he holds an MBA degree from California State University (USA).
During his 10-year tenure at Esko and its predecessor, Barco, Janout was initially responsible for sales in Austria and Switzerland.
