It is also claimed to bring improved web collaboration facilities and new online review and approval capabilities.
New tools for installation and on-line monitoring are said to facilitate customer support and guarantee a stable working environment for Esko software users.
Esko will also be showing ArtiosCAD, the structural design software for packaging at Paktech.
With dedicated tools designed for structural design, product development, virtual prototyping and manufacturing, ArtiosCAD is said to be suitable for all corrugated and folding carton designers.
Complete 3D CAD integration allows for the prototyping of designs and presentations, eliminating communication errors and reducing design review cycles, said the company.
ArtiosCAD 7 is also said to provide a series of carton specifications that covers the complete range of packaging materials, such as folding carton, corrugated board, plastics and foam, for instance.
